Exploring Cell Memory and Past Life Regression: Insight and Beliefs

I’ve read numerous books related to cell memory and past life regression. Many of the authors are psychologists, doctors, neuroscientists and also Reiki practitioners (go figure). They all have the same insights, beliefs, and case studies that show evidence of what we are today is directly related to our past. Many people tend to think this life is all there is. But many more believe that we have had many lifetimes as a soul.

I believe your soul is the essence of you that started as an energy form and became a human to experience and learn to hopefully become better, more loving, more tolerant, non-judgmental. I believe when we love more our energy expands and becomes brighter/energized.

I have done past life regressions on others and found that the experience they recalled does relate to their lives today. For example, I did a session for a young woman who hated any body of water that she couldn’t see the bottom. Through the regression the past life where the point of origin was, was a life that she was a prisoner on a ship. She was forced to walk the plank with her hands and feet bound. She could recall looking up from the water and described people who appeared like pirates looking down at her. She drowned in that life. So… it is pretty reasonable to say that her cells remember that event.

Can we go back and release those emotions, so they don’t carry forward into another life? I think so..to be continued. I would love to read others’ thoughts on this subject. Let me know what you think.
